Role Specifics and Benefits Responsibilities - Perform CT imaging procedures with precision, including patient positioning, protocol optimization, and radiation safety optimization (ALARA principles) to achieve high-quality diagnostic images. - Administer contrast agents per safety guidelines, monitor for adverse reactions, and communicate findings to radiologists to support timely clinical decisions. - Operate multi-slice CT scanners, reconstruct images, verify accuracy, perform quality assurance checks, and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the exam. - Collaborate with radiology staff, nurses, and physicians; participate in team rounds and contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives. - Document patient information, imaging data, and procedural details in the PACS/EHR, maintaining compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards. - Maintain imaging equipment readiness, infection control, and room turnover efficiency; engage in ongoing education to stay current with CT technology and protocols.
