In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering precise radiation therapy planning and treatment delivery under the supervision of oncology physicians and medical physics staff. You’ll participate in treatment simulations, verify patient identities, commission and calibrate equipment, and ensure impeccable safety and QA standards for each session. Your daily responsibilities include preparing treatment plans, verifying dosimetry parameters, positioning patients with accuracy, and documenting treatment details in electronic health records. You’ll collaborate closely with dosimetrists, physicists, radiation therapists assistants, and nurses to optimize treatment workflows, monitor patient responses, manage side effects, and provide education and reassurance to patients and families.
