About The Position
GLC Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Psychiatric Registered Nurse (Psych RN) for a travel nursing position at the Trenton Psychiatric Hospital in Trenton, New Jersey. This role is designed for professionals with a minimum of 15 years of Behavioral Health and Psychiatric experience. The position is a 13-week contract with no time off during the assignment, emphasizing the need for commitment and reliability. The Psych RN will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients with psychiatric disorders, ensuring their safety and well-being while adhering to established protocols and standards of care. The role requires a strong understanding of psychiatric nursing practices, the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment, and excellent communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. The position offers a competitive pay structure, with an hourly pay rate of $28.00 and an overtime pay rate of $70.00. Additionally, the travel package includes a weekly stipend of $1,442.00, leading to a weekly gross income of $2,562.00. For local candidates, the hourly pay rate is $57.00, with a weekly gross wage of $2,280.00. A completion bonus of $1,000 is also available, contingent upon fulfilling the contract terms. The work schedule includes rotating weekends and night shifts, requiring flexibility and adaptability from the nurse.
