About The Position

The Project Executive is responsible for overseeing a certain amount of margin annually, ensuring that we are pursuing the right type of customers and meeting or exceeding their expectations. This role champions 'The Layton Way' by delivering predictable outcomes for internal teams, external teams, and customers. The Project Executive ensures that 'Constructing with Integrity' is delivered by working with honesty, unity, safety, and quality of work. They are responsible for the financial and general project performance of all projects within their respective portfolio. Additionally, they lead pre-construction efforts for potential and secured work, maintaining relations with existing and prospective clients. The Project Executive is looked upon to confront difficult issues that may arise on a project, providing senior overview and input for project schedules during project acquisition efforts and execution of work.

Requirements

  • Ability to identify complex problems and develop solutions.
  • Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in commercial construction.
  • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and comply with company vehicle safety program.
  • 4-year degree in a construction related major.
  • Minimum 15 years’ project management experience.

  • Ensure customer success and satisfaction throughout project lifecycle.
  • Participate in community service events and select industry events for growth.
  • Develop and review project schedules, pulling in resources to avert problems.
  • Confront difficult issues that may arise on a project.
