About The Position

Travel Programs, Policy and Operations support team member. Involved in support of Travel System program activities, including working in coordination with USMS Travel Program lead and to ensure all travel actions are in compliance with associated internal control and travel policy requirements as established by the USMS and DOJ. Supports all travel program configuration management tasks; E2 interface system configuration tasks, and change requests as necessitated by new travel requirements or updates. This position is located in Arlington, VA. Your future duties and responsibilities: Support the Travel Program lead and the overall USMS Travel System programs for USMS with the following: . Ensure all travel account profiles are configured and established to assure overall financial internal control and account management objectives that are in compliance with the Federal Travel Regulation . Monitor all routing and approval pool/templates . Create and provide training documents and training sessions as requested by USMS and Travel Program lead . Plan and oversee all Regression testing associated with new Travel Program releases . Communicate system functionality and travel policy updates to affected users . Oversee E2-related tasks . Configuration updates, documentation management, Manage updates/enhancements to desk reference guides (DRGs) . Respond and provide all audit requests and related requests to the appropriate senior USMS official making said request. . Monitor document submissions for violations . Run reports to ensure compliance with USMS and DOJ travel policy . Work with external report development team to design external E2 reports . Provide support for agents on E2 and travel-related issues . Develop SOPs to limit errors and maintain maximum functionality of E2 system and UFMS interface

Requirements

  • Have experience with the government Federal Travel Regulation
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Minimum 3 years' experience required
  • US citizenship is required, must be able to obtain clearance
