About The Position
The Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) is seeking a Travel Program Assistant to support DPR's 55+ Travel Program within the Office of Senior 55+ Programs. 55+ Programs provide recreation, education, social, wellness, and volunteer opportunities for Arlington's vibrant 55+ population. The Assistant will provide planning support to the Travel Program Supervisor by identifying and assessing day trip travel opportunities and virtual programming needs and interests for 55+ participants, including participants with special needs, for local or regional events. The Assistant serves as the primary point of contact for travel participants.
