The Travel Plaza Clerk is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Travel Plaza, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently to maintain a high standard of service and organization. Additionally, the clerk is responsible for conducting a physical count of the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift, ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded and verified by the attending supervisor. In this position, the clerk must maintain proper inventory levels, communicate any low stock situations to the manager, and ensure that all paperwork is completed correctly and signed as required. Attendance is critical, and the clerk must report to work on time or provide adequate notice for any absences. The role also includes resolving customer and employee concerns in a professional manner and performing other assigned duties as necessary.
