About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Travel Physical Therapist for a daytime contract assignment in coastal Massachusetts. The Physical Therapist will evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for adult and pediatric patients , focusing on restoring function, improving mobility, and preventing disability using evidence-based practices.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Licensure: Active Physical Therapy license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Certification: Current BLS certification
• Experience: Prior clinical experience required

Nice To Haves

• adult and pediatric experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including muscle, nerve, joint, and functional assessments
• Establish measurable, outcome-driven treatment goals
• Deliver therapeutic interventions and adjust care plans based on patient progress
• Maintain accurate, timely, and analytical clinical documentation
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for care coordination and discharge planning
• Provide clinical guidance and oversight to PT Assistants (PTAs), aides, and students
• Support onboarding and training of new rehabilitation staff as needed
