About The Position

Sentara Therapy Center BelleHarbour in Suffolk, VA is hiring a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) to work a 14-week assignment! The Travel Physical Therapist will perform modalities and therapeutic interventions in accordance with accepted standards of care and department policies and procedures. This role involves providing effective instruction to the patient and family through standardized educational programs and/or individualized training. The therapist will initiate, develop, and maintain collaborative interactions with internal and external team members, patients, and family members to improve patient outcomes. The position requires productivity and efficiency in daily operations, selecting and performing appropriate assessment procedures, and establishing and updating formal plans of care to address individual patient needs.

Requirements

• Valid Physical Therapist License (PT) in Virginia.
• Bachelor's Level Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Previous physical therapy experience (preferred).
• Ortho and neuro experience (required).

Responsibilities
