Requirements

• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• At least one year of experience in a PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown setting
• Skills in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Experience with Rapid Response Teams
• Knowledge of IV insulin protocols
• Ability to manage feeding tubes and central/peripheral lines
• Experience with cardiac drips management
• Familiarity with nasal cannula and portable oxygen usage
• Knowledge of non-invasive airway management and isolation precautions

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias
• Utilize Rapid Response Teams effectively
• Administer IV insulin protocols and manage feeding tubes
• Care for central and peripheral lines
• Manage cardiac drips without titration
• Administer nasal cannula and portable oxygen
• Implement non-invasive airway management and isolation precautions
