About The Position

A large healthcare system in Southwest Florida is seeking an experienced Travel PCU Float RN for an ED Hold/PCU Float assignment. This role requires a clinically strong RN who is flexible and comfortable floating to multiple units and affiliated campuses as needed. This is a PCU float role and does not include floating to the Emergency Department. Unit Details: Specialty: ED Hold / Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Patient Ratio: 4–6:1 (Based on Patient Acuity and Mix) Patient Population: Adult & Geriatric EMR: Epic Scrubs: Galaxy Blue & White

Requirements

• Minimum 2 Years of PCU Experience (Required)
• ED Experience Not Required (No ED Floating)
• Active Florida RN License or Compact License (Required)
• BLS Certification (Required)
• ACLS Certification (Required)
• NIHSS Certification (Required)
• Degree Accreditation must be listed on profile or candidate must have 5+ years of RN experience
• Strong adaptability and flexibility to float

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a PCU/ED Hold setting
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic
• Float to other units and sister campuses as required
