Job Description MUST BE ABLE TO OBTAIN KANSAS PARAMEDIC Compensation & benefits $4,300+/week starting — paid bi-weekly, built-in overtime Higher rates available for CCT and FPC-certified medics Lodging provided and fully paid by EMS Unlimited Pre-paid debit card for meals and incidentals Overtime paid per state and federal law On-shift, paid, crew rest provided — we prioritize your safety and wellbeing Schedule This is a 7-day block shift (168 hours), PRN/per diem. Work a week, take a week, or two. You'll have designated, paid, crew rest time during the shift — we're serious about it. Located at Station 234, Dodge City, KS, or Station 134, Topeka, KS; Lodging and food covered so you can show up and focus on the work. What you'll do Respond to emergency and non-emergency transport requests efficiently and calmly Provide BLS and ALS care in prehospital and interfacility transport settings Maintain equipment readiness — inventory, cleaning, and restocking after each call Represent EMS Unlimited professionally with patients, families, and partner agencies Uphold the team values that make this organization worth working for Beyond this assignment EMS Unlimited operates across multiple states and responds to wildfire, disaster, and special operations assignments throughout the year. Requirements
- Must be able to obtain Kansas Paramedic licensure
- Strong patient care and customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
- Professional, courteous, and safety-minded in all situations
- Working cooperatively with assisting agencies. Be nice, professional, courteous and
- Must possess: Valid CPR, drives license and, Kansas Paramedic Certification.
- Must be 21 years of age or older to drive our ambulance.
