About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Aberdeen, SD. This contract position guarantees 36 hours per week, starting on 5/11/2026. The role involves assessing patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and educating patients and their families on coping strategies and assistive devices. The Occupational Therapist will collaborate with other healthcare professionals, monitor patient progress, document evaluations and notes, advocate for patient needs, and provide support for patients transitioning back to daily activities. Additionally, the role includes conducting home or workplace assessments to recommend modifications and staying updated on the latest research and advancements in occupational therapy.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of OT experience required
  • State License must be currently active
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
  • Drug screen and background check (facility required)
  • Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned

Nice To Haves

  • BLS/BCLS certification is preferred
