About The Position

EliteCare Medical Staffing is seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel Nurse RN specializing in Emergency Nursing to join our team in Bakersfield. This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Washington or eligibility for licensure.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC; TNCC and NRP preferred.
• Experience in Emergency Nursing is preferred; charge experience is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Meditech or similar electronic health record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans for patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Meditech or similar electronic health record systems.
• Participate in emergency response procedures and protocols.
