About The Position
The Registered Nurse position in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab) involves providing specialized nursing care to patients undergoing various cardiovascular procedures. This role requires a skilled RN who is proficient in managing patients in a fast-paced environment, particularly in the areas of catheterization, peripheral interventions, structural heart procedures, and neuro procedures. The Cath Lab is equipped with three dedicated cath labs, one hybrid lab, and one neuro lab, ensuring a comprehensive approach to cardiac care. The nurse will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of patient care, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver effective treatment. The nurse-to-patient ratio is one RN per exam room, allowing for focused and individualized patient care. Charting will be conducted using Cerner, and the nurse will be expected to scrub in for procedures as necessary.
