Wound Pros Management Group, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and skilled In-State Travel Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing team in New York. This full-time position involves delivering advanced wound care services to patients in home settings and long-term care facilities. You will play a critical role in improving patient outcomes through evidence-based treatment, clinical expertise, and innovative technology. Leveraging the power of Artificial Intelligence, our approach accelerates wound healing and enhances the quality of care. As a valued member of our clinical team, you will directly contribute to our mission of healing wounds and preventing amputations while making a lasting difference in the lives of patients across your assigned market.

  • Perform comprehensive physical exams and wound assessments on patients in long-term care facilities or home settings.
  • Select, order, and interpret tests and procedures to determine the most effective treatment plans.
  • Deliver wound care procedures, including debridement and biologic applications, as deemed necessary and appropriate for the plan of care in accordance with Wound Pros' 6-Step Treatment Protocol.
  • Apply topical wound care treatments and other advanced wound management products.
  • Define and document clinical diagnoses and recommend appropriate medications, dressings, or interventions to support wound healing.
  • Accurately document findings, treatment plans, and follow-up in electronic patient records.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on wound prevention, care plans, and overall health management.
  • Travel to patients’ homes and/or long-term care facilities as required within the assigned state.
  • Actively participate in internal training sessions, team meetings, and company-wide improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure high levels of patient satisfaction by consistently upholding Wound Pros’ standards of care and communication.
  • Support and participate in special projects and departmental initiatives as assigned.
  • Maintain strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Able to travel substantially for the job and for training purposes.
  • Prior hands-on wound care experience is required; wound care certification is a plus.
  • Experience in home health, long-term care, or similar clinical settings is highly valued.
  • Previous involvement in multidisciplinary or cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with healthcare-related technologies, EMR systems, and digital platforms.
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Must hold a current, valid, and unrestricted state license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Board-certified and able to provide proof of certification.
  • Excellent clinical judgment and patient-centered care approach.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive), and EMR systems.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Technical aptitude with a strong ability to learn, adapt to, and train others on new healthcare technologies and protocols.
  • Knowledge of federal and state healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
  • Physical ability to lift 50 lbs., reposition patients, and perform duties requiring a full range of mobility.
  • Must possess a valid and unrestricted driver’s license and reliable transportation.
