About The Position

Requirements

• Active RN license or willingness to obtain one in Texas.
• Minimum of one year of RN experience.
• At least one year of Pediatric ICU (PICU) experience within the last two years.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree in nursing from an accredited program.
• BLS certification and relevant Pediatric ICU certifications.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in other critical care areas such as Emergency Room or Operating Room.
• Additional certifications in pediatric nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in the ICU.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding to changes in status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and care plans.
