About The Position

Nomad Health is seeking an experienced Medical ICU (MICU) registered nurse for a travel assignment in San Diego, CA. Requirements

• Minimum one year of RN experience.
• One year of Medical ICU (MICU) experience within the last two years as an RN.
• Active RN license or willingness to obtain a Registered Nurse license in CA.
• RN degree from an accredited registered nurse program.
• BLS and all relevant Medical ICU (MICU)/department-specific certifications required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in other nursing specialties such as Emergency Room, Telemetry, or Operating Room nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Medical ICU (MICU) setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions and post-discharge care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
