About The Position

The Travel Nurse Clinical Instructor at Nightingale College is responsible for facilitating on-ground education instruction in nursing, incorporating innovative teaching methodologies and technologies. This role requires extensive travel across the United States to various clinical rotation sites, ensuring the delivery of the nursing curriculum aligns with the college's mission and values. The instructor will engage with learners, evaluate their performance, and contribute to the success of the nursing education program.

Requirements

• Earned Graduate degree with a major in nursing from an accredited institution.
• Active, unencumbered RN or APRN license from state of residence.
• Ability to obtain RN and NP licensure in any jurisdiction required by the College.
• Commitment to obtaining Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) credential within one year.
• Two years of experience in clinical nursing within the past five years.
• Two years of experience supervising clinical education activities preferred.
• Maintains immunizations and certification records as required.

Nice To Haves

• One year experience in delivery of Concept Based Nursing Education preferred.
• One year of distance education experience preferred.
• Familiarity with learning management software, Canvas preferred.

• Facilitate on-ground education instruction in nursing.

• Deliver nursing curriculum in accordance with the Program's mission and values.
• Engage with learners in all aspects of the nursing education process.
• Evaluate learners' performance and maintain open communication regarding attendance and comprehension.
• Attend nursing faculty meetings and participate in committees and shared decision-making activities.
• Monitor and adhere to partner facilities' expectations for learners.
• Participate in the implementation of functional projects as needed.
