Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel assignment in Eureka, California. This role supports a busy imaging department performing diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures including PET and cardiac imaging in an acute care hospital setting. POSITION OVERVIEW This assignment is ideal for Nuclear Medicine Techs who are confident working independently, performing both routine and advanced imaging studies, and maintaining accuracy in high-demand clinical environments. Requirements

  • ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification REQUIRED
  • Minimum 1 year Nuclear Medicine experience REQUIRED
  • BLS certification REQUIRED
  • Ability to work independently in clinical imaging environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with PET and cardiac imaging preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures including PET and cardiac studies
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals
  • Operate imaging equipment and ensure image quality
  • Monitor patient safety and comfort during procedures
  • Collaborate with radiologists and care teams for diagnostic accuracy
  • Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards
  • Document procedures and patient data accurately in imaging systems
