About The Position

A healthcare facility is seeking an experienced Travel MRI Technologist to join the imaging team for an overnight assignment. The MRI Tech will perform high-quality magnetic resonance imaging studies while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and compliance with established imaging protocols.

Requirements

• Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License or Nuclear Medicine License with injection certification
• ARRT (R)(MR) Certification
• BLS Certification
• Minimum 2+ years of MRI experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations with a high level of accuracy and adherence to safety standards.
• Prepare patients and MRI equipment prior to procedures.
• Administer contrast media in accordance with scope of practice and facility protocols.
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to optimize imaging quality and protocols.
• Accurately document procedures, contrast usage, and patient care activities.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures and provide reassurance and support.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety within the MRI suite.
• Ensure compliance with MRI safety guidelines, infection control, and regulatory requirements.
• Deliver excellent patient-centered care and customer service.
