This role follows standardized procedures to prepare and analyze samples for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits. The technologist must be detail-oriented, reliable, and able to operate independently with limited supervision. The position requires a bachelor’s degree, ASCP generalist certification, and blood bank experience.
Requirements
- Florida Medical Technologist license (active at submission)
- ASCP Generalist certification
- Blood bank experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field
- Familiarity with standard laboratory practices, procedures, and safety protocols
- AHCA compliance for Florida placements
- Current, valid, and active driver’s license required.
- Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation
- Recent acute care experience for acute care and LTAC placements
- BLS from a Vibra Travels approved vendor required. AHA preferred and required by some clients
- Current, valid, and active license/certification to practice as a Med Tech in the state of employment required.
- Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travles-approved vendor required,
- AHA preferred and required by some clients.
- AHCA for Florida Placements
- Vibra follows federal and state requirements for vaccinations, vaccination offerings, and disease screening. Some states and locations may have different vaccine or screening requirements.
