About The Position

This role supports a high-performing acute care unit and requires a dependable traveler who can deliver safe, efficient, and patient-centered care during the winter season.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care hospital experience (Medical-Surgical)
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Active New York State RN License
• BLS required

• ACLS preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adult Medical-Surgical patients in an acute care setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Monitor patient conditions, recognize changes, and report findings promptly
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control practices
• Float to other units as needed based on clinical competency
