Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking a Medical Surgical RN for a travel assignment in Augusta, Georgia. This role supports a general med/surg unit caring for adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced hospital environment. POSITION OVERVIEW This assignment is ideal for nurses who want consistent hours, a straightforward med/surg environment, and the opportunity to maximize weekly income with a 48-hour option. ASSIGNMENT DETAILS • 14-week contract • Day shift 4x12s (07:00–19:30) • Patient ratio: 1:6 • 36 or 48-hour guarantee available • Weekend requirement: every other • Floating required within scope • Auto offer facility – fast process • 1 position available COMPENSATION Because travel rates change frequently based on market demand and facility needs, our recruiters provide the most current and competitive pay packages during your initial conversation. Each compensation package is customized and may include taxable hourly wages along with tax-free stipends when applicable. CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide care for adult and geriatric med/surg patients • Administer medications and monitor patient response • Perform wound care and manage post-surgical needs • Monitor respiratory status and provide oxygen therapy • Assist with IV therapy and fluid management • Respond to rapid response and emergency situations • Document all care in Epic EMR system WORK ENVIRONMENT • Acute care hospital setting • Medical Surgical unit • Adult and geriatric patient population • Systems: Epic, Pyxis, SBAR Heartline Staffing is a Strategic Talent Partner with Purple Cow Recruiting. Requirements
- Minimum 1 year Med Surg RN experience REQUIRED
- BLS REQUIRED (in hand at submission)
- EPIC experience REQUIRED
- Active GA or Compact RN license REQUIRED
- Must be comfortable with general med/surg patient population
