About The Position
Heartline Staffing is a Strategic Talent Partner with Purple Cow Recruiting. We are seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist for a travel assignment at a nationally recognized academic medical center in Columbus, Ohio. This role supports patient volume within a high-demand outpatient Breast Center, with occasional support at a satellite screening location. The Mammography Technologist will perform both screening and diagnostic mammography for adult and geriatric patients. The primary Breast Center includes a mix of screening and diagnostic cases, while satellite locations focus on screening mammography only. No biopsy experience is required for this position. SCHEDULE & SHIFT DETAILS • Day shift, 5x8 schedule • Typical shifts: – 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM – 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM – 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM • During holiday weeks, schedules convert to four 10-hour shifts • Occasional Saturday coverage may be required • Mobile unit coverage may require variable hours between 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM This is a fast-paced outpatient environment with an average daily caseload of 10–15 patients. The department is equipped with modern digital mammography technology, including 3-D imaging. Experience with Digital Hologic (Tomo) systems is preferred. COMPENSATION (Travel Package) • W2 Hourly Rate: TBD • Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: TBD • Estimated Weekly Gross Pay: TBD Requirements • Active Ohio Department of Health (ODH) Mammography License • Active ARRT (R) and ARRT (M) certifications • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification • Experience performing screening and diagnostic mammography • Experience with digital and 3-D mammography • Ability to work in an outpatient breast center environment • Willingness to rotate first-shift schedules and work occasional Saturdays • Ability to comply with Ohio fingerprinting and credentialing timelines Heartline Staffing is a Strategic Talent Partner with Purple Cow Recruiting.
