What you will do: FirstChoice IR Rad Techs are utilized to fill short and long-term assignments throughout the health system, and we need you to be a part of this innovative program!

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Graduate of an accredited program of Radiologic Technology is required.
  • Valid Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certification issued by the California Department of Public Health-Radiologic Health Branch (CDPH-RHB) is required.
  • American Registry Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification in Radiography is required.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider BLS card is required.
  • A minimum of 18 months of experience in Diagnostic Radiology is required.
  • Knowledge of contrast media, radiation physics, anatomy and radiographic positioning, as well as familiarity with a variety of radiographic and support equipment, including the ability to independently operate and troubleshoot the equipment is required.
  • Cannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility.
  • Ability to complete the orientation and training.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Practice Coordinator, Interventional Radiology, this position is responsible for performing routine and specialized radiographic procedures in the Special Procedures areas, providing patient care and physician assistance during the performance of those procedures.
