About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to support an interdisciplinary hospice care team. This travel assignment plays a critical role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered end-of-life care, including pain management and symptom control, to patients in home and facility-based settings. The role requires reliable transportation to cover an assigned territory.

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license
• Minimum 2 years of hospice RN case management experience
• Successful completion of a pre-employment medication competency assessment

Nice To Haves

• Hospice home care experience
• IV certification
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Strong electronic documentation and clinical system proficiency

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled nursing care, supportive care, and symptom management in hospice home and facility environments
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, identify changes in condition, and promptly communicate with physicians and care providers
• Implement and manage individualized Plans of Care in accordance with physician orders and regulatory standards
• Complete admission documentation and clinical narratives accurately and within required timelines
• Supervise hospice aides in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Educate patients, families, and facility staff on hospice philosophy, services, and care expectations
