About The Position

We are seeking a highly adaptable and experienced Travel Lead Florist to execute events across the country. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on the road, can operate independently, and maintains exceptional standards in both design and logistics. You will be responsible for leading floral production, managing onsite execution, and ensuring seamless event delivery in a wide range of locations and environments. Weekend availability and extensive travel are required. Additional Notes: This role is best suited for someone who is detail-oriented, self-sufficient, and energized by travel. The ideal candidate can maintain high production standards while navigating the unpredictability of working on the road.

Requirements

Strong experience in floral design and event execution required
Proven ability to work independently and lead in fast-paced environments
Highly organized with strong logistical and problem-solving skills
Must be comfortable with frequent travel (approximately 80%)
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Clean driving record required
Willingness to work weekends and flexible hours

Responsibilities

Lead floral design execution for events nationwide
Manage onsite installations, setups, and breakdowns in diverse venues
Act as the primary onsite lead, ensuring quality, efficiency, and brand standards
Prepare event materials remotely, including printing orders, timelines, and logistics
Coordinate advance shipping, rentals, and supply needs for out-of-state events
Ensure all events are fully organized and production-ready prior to travel
Pack, transport, and manage all event materials and floral products
Coordinate travel schedules, load-ins, and strike timelines
Problem-solve in real time while navigating new venues and cities
Assist with studio organization and readiness between travel schedules
Support vehicle maintenance and ensure travel kits and equipment are stocked
Maintain adherence to all “out-the-door” SOPs prior to departures
Manage inventory for travel events and ensure accurate packing lists
Communicate supply needs and place orders as needed
Oversee floral product quality from procurement through installation
Source, manage, and lead freelance florists in various markets
Provide clear direction and uphold quality standards across all teams
Adapt leadership style to different teams and environments
