Travel Fixture Installer- NJ
About The Position
Join the Signature Retail Services team as a Full-Time Traveling Fixture Installer based out of our New Jersey region! This position involves independent weekly travel within the states of New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, and Maryland based on project needs. Signature Retail Services is seeking a motivated, hands-on individual to join our team as a Traveling Fixture Installer for remodel construction projects at major home improvement retailers such as The Home Depot, Lowe’s, and Ace Hardware. This role offers extensive travel across your state and surrounding states, working overnight and/or day shifts on high-impact projects. As part of our team, you will complete store remodels by tearing down, repairing, and installing steel H-frame racking fixtures, cantilever systems, and steel beams; setting products to planogram; building displays; and ensuring project spaces remain clean and organized. You’ll work both independently and collaboratively, consistently moving materials such as lumber, doors, windows, and steel racking fixtures, while safely operating power tools and heavy equipment including scissor lifts and forklifts to set fixtures and install store or brand signage. Pay ranges from $23–$25/hr based on experience, with opportunities to grow your skills in a dynamic environment.
Requirements
- Must be 21+ years or older and authorized to work in the United States.
- Possess a valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and basic auto insurance.
- Travel to project locations and work across multiple states.
- Possess basic hand tools and power tools such as work gloves, basic hand tools, tape measure, box cutter, etc.
- This position involves duties such as lifting, bending, stooping, sitting, standing, walking, and safely climbing ladders.
- This position involves regular lifting requirements of 60+ lbs without assistance throughout the shift.
- Access to a personal Smartphone with call, text, and email capability.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented focus.
