About the position
The Registered Nurse position involves providing specialized nursing care in an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab setting. The role requires expertise in various cardiac procedures and technologies, ensuring high-quality patient care during diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. The assignment is for 13 weeks with flexible scheduling options, allowing for a work-life balance while delivering essential healthcare services.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab.
- Perform baseline measurements and conduct cardiac mapping.
- Assist in cardiac ablation procedures.
- Conduct conduction studies and manage patient care during procedures.
- Insert and program Automatic Implantable Cardiac Defibrillators (AICDs) and pacemakers.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
- Current ACLS certification required.
- Proficient in electrophysiology lab procedures and technologies.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with cardiac ablation and mapping procedures.
- Familiarity with AICD and pacemaker insertion.
