About The Position

Elitecare Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled and dedicated Travel Electrophysiology Technologist for a contract position in Portland, Oregon. This role is essential for providing high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic services in electrophysiology.

Requirements

• Current RT licensure with AART certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrophysiology or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrophysiological principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with electrophysiology procedures, including catheter placements and mapping.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions during procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Prepare and maintain equipment used in electrophysiology procedures, ensuring proper sterilization and functionality.
• Document all relevant information accurately and timely in the patient’s medical record.
• Educate patients about procedures, potential risks, and post-procedure care.
