About The Position

The role is for dependable, detail-focused surgical techs with experience in hospital operating rooms, ready to assist in life-changing procedures while traveling the country.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent cardiovascular surgical tech experience
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Current, valid, and active driver’s license required
• Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation
• Expertise in assisting with open-heart, vascular, and thoracic procedures
• Strong grasp of cardiovascular instrumentation and sterile technique
• Able to anticipate needs of surgeons in complex, time-sensitive cases
• Cool under pressure and excellent in high-acuity environments
• Free from illegal drug use and effects of alcohol in the workplace
• Current, valid, and active license and/or certification to practice as a surgical tech in the state of employment required
• Vibra follows federal and state requirements for vaccinations, vaccination offerings, and disease screening

Nice To Haves

• CST or CVOR-specific certification preferred
• AHA BLS preferred (may be required by some clients)
