About The Position

A well-established hospital located about an hour East of Cedar Rapids, IA is looking for a travel 13-week X-Ray Technologist to join their team. This position involves explaining CT and X-Ray scan procedures and instructions to patients, monitoring their comfort and safety throughout the exam, and ensuring that patients are positioned correctly and securely for the duration of the scan. The X-Ray Technologist will also adhere to all radiation safety procedures to minimize exposure to both patients and staff.

Requirements

• Must have ARRT certification.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a X-Ray Technologist.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Explain CT and X-Ray scan procedures and instructions to patients.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout the exam.
• Position patients correctly and ensure they are comfortable and secure for the duration of the scan.
• Adhere to all radiation safety procedures to minimize exposure to both patients and staff.

Benefits
