Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Santa Rosa, California. This role supports a high-volume imaging department performing advanced CT procedures including stroke protocols, trauma imaging, and contrast studies in an acute care environment. POSITION OVERVIEW This assignment is ideal for CT Techs who are confident working in emergency and acute care settings and are comfortable performing a wide range of diagnostic and advanced CT imaging procedures. ASSIGNMENT DETAILS • 13-week contract • Mid shift 5x8s (15:00–23:30) • Weekend rotation required • Floating required between hospital and outpatient settings • No call required COMPENSATION Because travel rates change frequently based on market demand and facility needs, our recruiters provide the most current and competitive pay packages during your initial conversation. Each compensation package is customized and may include taxable hourly wages along with tax-free stipends when applicable.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year CT Tech experience REQUIRED
  • ARRT (R) REQUIRED
  • BLS certification REQUIRED
  • Venipuncture certification REQUIRED
  • Epic charting experience REQUIRED (HARD STOP)
  • Experience with contrast administration and IV starts REQUIRED
  • Must be comfortable with stroke and trauma imaging
  • Must be willing to float between hospital and outpatient settings
  • Must meet 50-mile radius rule
  • Locals accepted at lower rate
  • RTO must be submitted with application
  • Must be willing to work weekends and holidays as required

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT scans including abdomen, pelvis, chest, and neuro studies
  • Execute stroke protocols and trauma imaging
  • Administer contrast and start IVs
  • Perform venipuncture and maintain IV access
  • Complete multiplanar reconstructions and post-processing
  • Operate PACS and CT imaging equipment
  • Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams
