About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join a high-acuity Operating Room team in a Level III trauma center. The role requires strong multi-specialty surgical experience and the ability to work with advanced surgical technologies in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Active Colorado Surgical Technologist License (CST – DORA)
Certification (NBSTSA, AST, or NCCT)
Graduate of accredited Surgical Technologist program
Minimum 3 years of OR experience
Strong experience in orthopedics (total joints), neuro/spine, robotics, urology, GYN, ENT, plastics
Current BLS (AHA) certification
Must reside at least 75 miles away from the facility (travel rule applies)

Experience in trauma or high-acuity surgical settings

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain sterile operating room environments
Assist surgeons by passing instruments, supplies, and equipment during procedures
Anticipate surgical team needs to ensure efficient workflow and patient safety
Support multiple specialties including orthopedics (total joints), neuro/spine, robotics, urology, OB-GYN, ENT, plastics, and trauma
Operate and assist with advanced surgical systems (DaVinci, Mako, Exactech, Stealth)
Ensure proper handling, sterilization, and storage of surgical instruments
Perform surgical counts and maintain infection control compliance
Assist with room turnover and case preparation
Document procedures accurately in Meditech EMR
Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergency surgeries
