About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist for a hospital-based travel assignment. This role involves providing support in a busy Cardiac Cath Lab setting, including scrubbing for procedures and monitoring hemodynamics.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting
- At least 1 year of experience scrubbing in the Cath Lab
- Strong knowledge of interventional cardiology and cardiovascular anatomy & physiology
Responsibilities
- Assist in performing cardiac catheterizations and interventional cardiology procedures
- Scrub for procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab
- Monitor hemodynamics during interventional procedures
- Understand cardiovascular anatomy and physiology
- Maintain a sterile field and ensure patient safety during procedures
- Be available for weekend and holiday on-call duties
