We are seeking Travel Technicians to join our team and work at various locations across the United States. This position requires 100% travel and involves installing low-voltage wiring and equipment such as IP cameras, Wireless Access Points (WAPs), routers, switches, and more. Candidates should expect to be on the road for 2–8 months at a time. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who works well with a partner. You will be paired with another technician for the duration of each project, typically working 6 days per week.

  • Pull and terminate low-voltage cable (Cat5, Cat6).
  • Install network equipment in commercial settings.
  • Follow instructions and applicable codes when pulling cable.
  • Run low-voltage cabling in commercial buildings, including drilling through concrete walls and limited conduit work.
  • Ensure all cables are neatly tied and bundled according to safety regulations.
  • Install cable support structures such as j-hooks, cable racks, and inner duct.
  • Conduct tests to verify newly installed cable systems and devices are operational.
  • Troubleshoot cable network issues.
  • Adhere to all project safety requirements set forth by the client, customers, or OSHA.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by your supervisor.
  • Previous experience as a Data Cable Technician.
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively nationwide (100% travel).
  • Available to work overnight shifts (7 PM – 7 AM), 5 days per week.
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs or more multiple times per shift.
  • Comfortable working in cramped spaces and at heights.
  • Ability to operate a scissor lift.
  • Willingness to travel to Lowell, AR for new hire orientation.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no DUI/DWI in the past 3 years).
  • Ability to complete work orders and maintain tools provided by the company.
  • Compliance with PPE requirements (company provides hard hat, vest, and safety glasses; must provide steel-toed boots).
  • Required tools: hand tools, screwdrivers (standard and Phillips), snips, punch-down tool (impact), toner and probe, pliers, adjustable wrenches, joint pliers, and lineman pliers.
  • Per diem: $125/day for food and lodging
