About The Position

Requirements

• Current BLS certification required.

• Proficient in managing anxiety disorders, bipolar disorders, depressive disorders, psychotic disorders, schizophrenia-spectrum disorders, substance use issues, suicidal behavior, and trauma-related disorders.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with medication administration via various routes (PO, RECTAL, IM, IV, SC).
• Familiarity with physical hold protocols and seclusion practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients with behavioral health issues.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Implement physical hold protocols and use of seclusion when necessary.
• Conduct psychoeducation sessions with patients.
• Monitor blood glucose levels as required.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement treatment plans.
