We’re looking for a dedicated Customer Service Agent to assist clients in planning and arranging their travel experiences, including flights, accommodations, transportation, tours, and other related activities. This remote position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and an in-depth knowledge of the travel industry to ensure clients enjoy a seamless, stress-free journey.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with clients over the phone to understand their travel preferences, budget, and unique requirements.
  • Design customized travel itineraries based on each client’s needs, including flights, accommodations, transportation, tours, and activities.
  • Coordinate and book travel components such as flights, hotels, rental cars, cruises, tours, and other services.
  • Assist clients in obtaining necessary travel documents like passports, visas, and travel insurance.
  • Offer valuable advice on travel destinations, cultural norms, weather, safety tips, and local customs.
  • Address any issues or changes in travel plans, such as cancellations or booking errors.
  • Work within clients’ budgets to find the best value travel options.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients throughout the planning process and during their travels.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, travel regulations, and safety guidelines.
  • Promote travel services to potential clients through direct communication or marketing efforts.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous experience in travel planning, customer service, or a related field is a plus.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in travel booking software and computer applications is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, a passion for travel, adaptability, and a customer-focused mindset.

Nice-to-haves

  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field (hospitality, tourism, or business) is preferred but not required.
