About The Position

HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital, a Level II Trauma Center, is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the Trauma team in Charleston, South Carolina. Completion of an accredited nurse practitioner/physician assistant program with appropriate certification exams Must have active and unrestricted South Carolina license or the ability get a South Carolina license prior to starting Must be comfortable assisting in the OR and experience with first assist Responsible for inpatient rounding, new consults on the floor and in ER, discharges, dictations, OR assist, office calls and office paperwork, such as FMLA Trident Hospital is a part of a 570-bed hospital tertiary-care system comprised of HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital, HCA Healthcare Summerville Hospital, and HCA Healthcare Live Oak Mental Health and Wellness as well as four free standing emergency departments - Brighton Park Emergency, Moncks Corner Medical Center, Centre Pointe Emergency and James Island Emergency. Requirements
