Specialty: Surg: Trauma Our surgeons have a depth and breadth of surgical knowledge that are unmatched in the area, with expertise in less invasive techniques and robotic technology. At the Institute for Surgical Excellence, you’ll be a part of a team that is setting the bar for surgical excellence. High functioning Level II trauma center New 8-bed ICU Time will be split among: Rounding on the inpatient trauma, emergency and elective surgical patients both on the floor and in the ICU Outpatient office setting for evaluation of new elective general surgery patients and follow-up for established patients Respond to trauma activations and emergency general surgery patients when on-call Call approximately 1:5 Join a team of unmatched surgical expertise. Requirements

Must be Board Eligible or Certified by American Board of Surgery or American Osteopathic Board of Surgery with added qualifications in surgical critical care.
A valid PA Medical License or ability to obtain one is required
Current ATLS certification (instructor status preferred)

Responsibilities

Rounding on the inpatient trauma, emergency and elective surgical patients both on the floor and in the ICU
Outpatient office setting for evaluation of new elective general surgery patients and follow-up for established patients
Respond to trauma activations and emergency general surgery patients when on-call
