About The Position

As a Trauma Sales Representative, you will work with high intensity and commitment to sell Stryker Trauma products, meeting customer needs. You are expected to become the resident trauma expert, engaging with a sophisticated audience of surgeons and healthcare professionals. This role demands a person energized by chaos, capable of organizing materials and quickly sorting solutions during operating/emergency room consultations. You will meticulously manage and maintain product inventory, always prepared to assist customers. Your comprehensive knowledge of both Stryker and competitor products will build credibility with surgeons, who will rely on you for advice and training on life-saving products and tools. This mission-driven role requires a fiercely intense and results-oriented individual who is confident, competitive, and persuasive, understanding market positioning to secure buy-in, cooperation, and loyalty, ultimately changing lives and making healthcare better.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 4+ years experience in a clinical healthcare or sales role (or a combination of the two)
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services, including marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems
  • Excellent organizational skills and knowledge in the use of current office technologies (MSOffice suite, databases, etc.)
  • Experience in building and maintaining relationships
  • Must be comfortable in emergency/operating room environments
  • Ability to participate in and attend sales meetings and professional association meetings outside regular business hours, as required
  • Must adhere to compliance and the principles of responsibility (AdvaMed) by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non-compliance, and adhering to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, accreditation and licenser requirements, and Company’s policies and procedures
  • Employees and new hires in sales and field roles that require access to customer accounts as a function of the job may be required, depending on customer requirements, to obtain the COVID-19 vaccination as an essential function of their role.

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of sales experience preferred
  • Experience in building and maintaining relationships (with surgeons & hospitals in respective areas would be beneficial)
