This role offers exciting opportunities to make a significant impact within the trauma care team! You will provide vital support to both the Trauma Program Director (TPD) and Trauma Medical Director (TMD), ensuring seamless operations. You'll play a key part in accurately identifying and entering all patients into the hospital's trauma registry, contributing to high-quality patient care. Additionally, you'll be responsible for generating insightful monthly, annual, and ad-hoc reports for the TPD, TMD, and other departments involved in the trauma continuum of care. You'll also have the opportunity to identify and submit critical data to local, regional, and national studies, as approved by the TPD and TMD, helping to drive advancements in trauma care.

  • Provide vital support to the Trauma Program Director (TPD) and Trauma Medical Director (TMD).
  • Ensure seamless operations within the trauma care team.
  • Accurately identify and enter all patients into the hospital's trauma registry.
  • Generate insightful monthly, annual, and ad-hoc reports for the TPD, TMD, and other departments.
  • Identify and submit critical data to local, regional, and national studies as approved by the TPD and TMD.
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • One year of computer and medical experience.
  • Database management experience.
  • Data abstraction experience.
  • ICD-9/ICD-10 coding experience.
  • AIS coding experience.
  • Successful completion of an Anatomy course.
  • Trauma Registrar certification.
  • Free Continuing Education and certification including BLS, ACLS and PALS.
