The Trauma Performance Improvement Coordinator serves as a member of the trauma quality team coordinating and supporting quality activities and projects. Identifies trends in data and quality to provide opportunities in care and follow up on discussed actions needed for improvement within the trauma program. Assists the Trauma Program Nurse Manager in monitoring process and outcome issues using predefined indicators and implementation of corrective actions and loop closure. Assists the registry with concurrent data abstracting, analysis, and report development while monitoring outcomes to ensure quality and timely care.
