UCHealth Medical Group and our surgical group in Colorado Springs are ready to welcome a board-eligible/certified Trauma and Acute Care Surgeon with fellowship training in Surgical Critical Care to their team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, interested in working full-time and focused on excellent patient care. The service covers emergency general surgery, surgical critical care, and manages a high volume of high acuity patients at our Level 1 Trauma Center. Be part of a team growing to include eighteen surgeons and a robust team of APPs. You'll have an incredible support staff and a collegial team at your side. The ideal candidate will enjoy being part of a fast paced, busy, high volume and high producing group. Requirements

  • Board-eligible/certified in Trauma and Acute Care Surgery.
  • Fellowship training in Surgical Critical Care.
  • Enthusiastic and focused on excellent patient care.
  • Ability to work full-time.

Responsibilities

  • Provide trauma and acute care surgical services.
  • Manage high acuity patients at a Level 1 Trauma Center.
  • Participate in teaching and clinical research.
