About The Position

The Apartment Trash Collector (Service Valet) position involves collecting trash from residents' doorsteps and transporting it to the onsite trash compactor using a personal open-bed pickup truck. Requirements

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
• A reliable open-bed pickup truck is required.
• Valid driver's license and current auto insurance in your name or listed as a driver on the policy.
• Ability to adapt to work both indoors and outdoors in changing weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and transport items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Capable of walking the distance of the property and being exposed to disagreeable odors.
• Capability to climb up and down staircases/steps multiple times throughout the evening.
• Ownership of a smartphone with a data plan to utilize the mobile app.
• No prior experience is necessary; hands-on, paid training is provided.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Transport trash bags collected from residents' doorsteps to the onsite trash compactor.
• Take required photos during service using the company's app.
• Work close to home, typically assigned to a property within a 10-15 minute drive.
• Work 5 evenings a week from Sunday through Thursday, starting at either 7:00 pm or 8:00 pm.
