About The Position

Overview We are seeking a Transporter , sometimes referred to as our Patient Transporter or Hospital Transporter in our Radiology department. The Transporter plays an important role in the flow and safety of surgical operations by moving patients, equipment, and materials between key areas. The Hospital Transporter position supports nurses, surgeons, and techs by ensuring patients and supplies get to the right place at the right time—safely and efficiently. Shift’s Available : Days Employment Type : Full Time Hours: 8-hour shifts – 9:00am to 5:30pm Location : St. Mary's Medical Center – Blue Springs, MO Here are some of the benefits of working at Prime Healthcare: Health, dental, and vision insurance options Paid vacation, sick time and holidays Bereavement leave, FMLA and other leave options Employer 401K options Tuition reimbursement options Life, disability, and other insurance options Many other amazing benefits Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to): Transport patients safely in the Radiology Department Deliver surgical instruments, equipment, and specimens to the appropriate locations while maintaining proper handling protocols Assist with room turnovers by removing used equipment, biohazard waste, and ensuring timely preparation for the next surgical case Communicate effectively with surgical staff and follow scheduling systems to ensure smooth and efficient workflow throughout the department Perform a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients along with clerical, transport, and messenger tasks to support safe and effective patient care services Qualifications Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. Requirements

Current BLS within 30 days of hire and maintain current
High School Diploma or Equivalent
