Responsible for the safe, timely and efficient movement of patients, supplies and equipment in the hospital. Makes rounds to all nursing units. Obtain supplies from general stores for nursing units. Other duties as assigned by the Clinical House Manager.

Requirements

  • Licenses and or Certifications: Current Kentucky CNA certification with current listing on the Kentucky Board of Nursing Nurse Aide Registry.
  • Certifications: Current American Heart Association BLS certificate or obtained within 90 days after hire date.
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
  • Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
