About The Position
Transporter Location: St. Francis Hospital – A Member of Catholic Health Join one of the nation’s top-ranked hospitals for Cardiology and GI Surgery. We’re looking for a dedicated Transporter to help ensure safe, timely, and compassionate patient transport throughout our hospital.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent relevant experience required.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport patients and medical supplies to and from the Radiology Department.
- Assist technologists with transferring patients to and from imaging tables.
- Properly manage and transport IV pumps and poles, oxygen tanks, and patient charts.
- Ensure a safe, calm, and comfortable environment for patients during transport.
- Perform general messenger services as needed.
