About The Position
Join a mission-driven team at Mercy Hospital, a 375-bed not-for-profit hospital known for compassionate care that treats the whole person: body, mind, and spirit. We’re looking for a dedicated Transporter to help ensure safe, timely, and compassionate patient transport throughout our hospital.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent relevant experience required.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport patients and medical supplies to and from the Radiology Department.
- Assist technologists with transferring patients to and from imaging tables.
- Properly manage and transport IV pumps and poles, oxygen tanks, and patient charts.
- Ensure a safe, calm, and comfortable environment for patients during transport.
- Perform general messenger services as needed.
